The story revolves around Rahul and Puja, who are in love with each other.
But their relationship is not approved by Puja’s family. So, Puja elopes to marry Rahul. They live happily for a year, but problems start cropping up when Puja gets pregnant and Rahul’s family demands a boy child. To keep her child safe, Puja escapes from her husband’s house and the story takes a turn from there. “My film is about the protection of the child and the single mother from society,” said the director.
Anupam, who sang the title track of the film, said, “The storyline of the film is very interesting. I’ve sung the title track of the film. The music is composed by Pritam.”
Rajesh, who plays an important character in the film, said, “Though we say we have progressed, there’s still some people who are backward in their thoughts. There are families, where a boy child is given more importance than a girl child and the film deals with that.”
Rajesh is also part of Janvi Kapoor and Rajkumar Rao starrer, where he plays a cricket coach. He will soon fly off to London to shoot for another Hindi film with Akshay Kumar.
